The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand
slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
The will of God from creation has always been for all men to be saved and live with him forever.
This is emphasized in many verses of the scripture such as John 3:16 - For
God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Salvation is a free gift of God’s grace offered to all. For it is by grace you have
been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that
no-one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). God offers salvation to all men through the sacrifice of His one and only Son on
the cross of Calvary. In order to be saved a person must accept this free gift of salvation. To accept
the gift of salvation, one must go through the following steps taught in the New Testament:
